COMP 401, 410, and 411 are not offered anymore.

*You can take as many comp electives as you want if you have the prerequisites, even after meeting the degree requirements.

BS Requirements

The CS BS curriculum is such that you will have all the prerequisites needed to learn any other course thereafter in the field of computer science.

The difference between the BS and BA is that the BS has a lot more MATH.

For the CS BA, you need

  • COMP211
  • COMP301
  • COMP311
  • 6 Electives (numbered 420 or higher excluding COMP 496, COMP 690, and COMP 692H, all 6 can be COMP Electives, or 2 Electives can be courses from other departments)
  • MATH231
  • STOR155/STOR435/STOR535/BIOS650/PYSC210/EMES520
  • All General Education requirements, including the Supplemental General Education requirement
BA Requirements

For the CS Minor, you need
